SURF Music x Mariko Takahashi "Momoiro Toiki" Remix Contest

Deadline: 9/12/2025

Brief Details

SURF Music × Mariko Takahashi “Momoiro Toiki” Remix Contest Presented by: SURF Music K.K., The Musix Inc., Victor Entertainment Inc. Thank you very much for your interest in the “Momoiro Toiki” Remix Contest, hosted by SURF Music. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the incomplete remix stem data we originally provided. The initial upload contained only the vocal track and MIDI data, and was missing other essential elements such as instruments, harmonies, guitar, bass, drums, piano, and synths. To all the creators who have already devoted their time and energy working with these incomplete stems, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused. We have released the complete stem package (including vocals, guitar, bass, drums, piano, synths, and harmonies). In light of this update, we are extending the submission deadline by two weeks, as outlined below. Originally written by Chinfa Kan (lyrics) and Takashi Satō (composition), “Momoiro Toiki” was released in 1984 and became a massive hit as a commercial song, also performed at the 35th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen that same year. It remains one of Mariko Takahashi’s most iconic works, beloved by audiences in Japan to this day.
