In 1998, under the title “BRAND NEW globe 4 SINGLES”, they released a new single every week, achieving the unprecedented feat of having four songs simultaneously in the Top 10 of the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. That same year, they won the 40th Japan Record Award for “wanna Be A Dreammaker.” As of August 2025, globe celebrates its 30th anniversary, standing as a legendary “monster unit” in Japanese music history. About the TK SONGS RESPECT PROJECT Tetsuya Komuro began his career as an artist with the debut of TM NETWORK in 1984. He later established himself as a songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer, creating countless hit songs and masterpieces across multiple roles. Widely recognized as a uniquely gifted and influential figure in Japanese music history, Komuro’s body of work is known as “TK SONGS.” In 2023, “TK SONGS RESPECT NIGHT” launched as a DJ party uniting DJs, singers, dancers, and audiences under the theme of “Love, Gratitude, and Respect” for TK SONGS. By August 2025, the event had been held three times to great acclaim. Building on that momentum, the TK SONGS RESPECT PROJECT was created to expand this vision into new projects and content. The second chapter of this initiative is the globe 30th “Love again” Remix Contest, continuing the celebration of Komuro’s music and legacy.
