SURF MUSIC × FIMMIGRM Topline CHALLENGE Topline Submission & Session Participation Call for the Next-Generation VSinger Project “En-gene” Organizer: SURF Music Co., Ltd. / TMIK Co., Ltd. Campaign Period: December 5, 2025 – Q2 2026 The submission deadline has been extended to January 31, 2026. Campaign Overview 【Part I】 — Entry Use FIMMIGRM to generate a topline for your own original instrumental track, refine it into a complete song, and submit it on SURF. Submission period: December 5, 2025 – January 31, 2026 (23:59:59 JST) 【Part II】 — Session Participation (SURF SESSION) Selected creators will be invited to professional sessions curated by agehasprings, a leading creative company behind numerous hit songs. Through these sessions, works will be further refined and considered as official release candidates for the En-gene VSinger project. For more information about agehasprings, please refer to the “ABOUT” section. What is a VSinger? A VSinger refers to a virtual VTuber who primarily focuses on singing and musical performance. Unlike general VTubers who engage in a wide range of entertainment activities, VSingers use music as their main form of expression. Today, VSingers have grown into a globally supported presence—particularly across Asia—reaching millions of fans through YouTube, streaming platforms, and even 3D live performances. How to Enter 1. Agree to the Terms and Conditions Complete the required information in the participation form and agree to the Terms and Conditions. The participation form and full terms can be found in the “Links” section below. 2. Register for FIMMIGRM & Generate a Topline Sign up for the paid plan with a 3-month free trial. ※Trial code: FIMMSURF Please use the same email address as your SURF account. Upload your instrumental track, generate an AI topline, and download the MIDI source file. 3. Refine Your Demo in Your DAW The generated topline may be freely edited. Guide vocals (e.g., “la-la”) or synth melodies are permitted. 4. Submission (by January 31, 2026 at 23:59 JST) (a) Submit your final track via the SURF brief. (b) For verification of melody generator usage, you must also submit the original ZIP file downloaded from FIMMIGRM. The ZIP file must be uploaded separately via the FIMMIGRM MIDI submission form linked in the “Brief References” section at the bottom of this page. Overall Schedule ◼︎ Competition Submission Period December 5, 2025 – January 31, 2026 Use of a FIMMIGRM-generated topline is required for entry. The 3-month FIMMIGRM free trial is available during this period. ◼︎ First Round Review February 1, 2026 – February 28, 2026 (tentative) Submitted toplines will be reviewed, and selected works will advance to professional SURF Sessions. ◼︎ Session Period March 1, 2026 – April 15, 2026 SURF Sessions will be conducted based on selected toplines with creators affiliated with or involved in agehasprings (planned). ◼︎ Second Round Review April 16, 2026 – Early May 2026 (tentative) Final session deliverables will be evaluated, and winning tracks and participating creators will be selected and notified. Schedule subject to change. agehasprings is scheduled to support production within SURF Sessions. Multiple sessions may be developed from a single topline. ◼︎ Finalization Period May 2026 (tentative) Final preparations for commercial release, including mixing, credits, registrations, metadata preparation, and delivery. ◼︎ Release Summer 2026 (target) Winning works will proceed toward commercial release as part of the En-gene project, following mixing, crediting, registrations, metadata organization, and delivery.
